Complexity of flavours

About the Recipe

Thai food is all about the complexity of flavours as well as texture. Salty, spicy, sweet, sour and bitter – all Thai dishes will combine at least two of them. At Kaosarn we use fresh ingredients, and several of them are used for each flavour: fish sauce and shrimp paste for salty, roasted and fresh chilli, chilli jam and pepper for spicy, palm sugar or the sweetness of fried shallots for a sweet, and vegetables and lime zest for a bitter flavour.
